This electronic ignition module is similar to the Pertronix module and installs the same way. This one was made to go into the Hitachi distributors in Datsuns with 4 or 6 cylinder engines. This means it will work in the Datsun Roadsters, 510, Z and 1200's that run a stock Hitachi distributor. This module will come with installation instructions but it is strongly suggested that you have it installed by a certified mechanic.
